A Fine 17th Century Pistol by “BVFF ALI”

A  flintlock pistol for personal carry  by the seventeenth century Italian gentleman.

A well presented and quality belt pistol with polished iron 12mm calibre barrel and engraved lock bearing the maker’s name, “BVFF ALI”. The full stock is of European walnut. All furniture is iron with embellishing engraving to sideplate. The ramrod is of wood with an iron tip.

This pistol is in very good mechanical and presentation condition which has spent many years in private Italian collections. An ideal addition to the collector’s European flintlock portfolio.
