A Fine Officer’s
Miquelet Pistol
This fine officer’s miquelet pistol from Naples, was made in the second quarter of the 19th century.
It has a smooth-bore, two stage cannon barrel of 17 mm calibre; engraved miquelet lock, brass mounts decorated with palmettes and a full walnut stock with finely chequered grips.
It is of elegant design, very representative of the Italian style for the period and it resided in a private Italian collection until 2019. This miquelet pistol would complement the collector’s portfolio as an outstanding example.
